Chemotherapy effects.

Chemotherapy affects the whole body. It disrupts cell division. This has effects in the mouth; ulceration and discomfort from the oral mucous membrane; reduced salivation and increased tendency to oral infections.

What to do?

Good oral hygiene, especially flossing. Soft food. Chlorhexidine mouthwash. Sucking ice chips. Soluble aspirin mouthwash. Artificial saliva.

Also (surprise!) a checkup.
