Rearrange your morning routine, avoid enamel damage.

A lot of people, including me, like to drink fruit juice at breakfast. This makes the enamel on your teeth soft and easily brushed away. The softening is reversed in a few minutes by the minerals in saliva but if you brush before the surface is hard again the enamel is lost forever. What to do?

I say 'rearrange the order you do things in the morning so that you brush your teeth just before you go out' that way the enamel has had more time to recover. Instead of two minutes, five, ten perhaps fifteen have elapsed. Twenty or thirty might be better, but the increased recovery time might make the difference between needing treatment and getting away with it!
