Every day I see people with problems arising from lack of space around their wisdom teeth. What, I ask myself, could these people have done to prevent the problem. After all I'm always banging on about the importance of prevention.
Sadly I think this is one of those times when there's no practical advice, most people are going to end up having one or more out.
The problem stems from the fact that modern diet is 'unchallenging', by which I mean low in fibre and high in energy.
If we all ate a paleolithic diet the problem would go away. Still, I don't see a diet of raw turnips and earwigs becoming popular any time soon.
